Please read these terms carefully before using the AirPeak Switzerland application and associated services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the AirPeak Switzerland application ("AirPeak", "the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Application.
2. Medical & Health Disclaimer
IMPORTANT MEDICAL DISCLAIMER: AirPeak Switzerland provides environmental summaries, pollen counts, air quality index calculations, and personalized respiratory risk estimations for informational purposes only. The Application is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking medical treatment because of information displayed in AirPeak Switzerland. In case of severe respiratory distress, asthma attacks, or medical emergencies, contact emergency medical services (such as 144 in Switzerland) immediately.
3. Environmental Data & Modeling Limitations
AirPeak aggregates official open government measurement feeds provided by Swiss federal authorities:
- MeteoSwiss Automatic Pollen Monitoring Network: Real grains per cubic metre updated hourly from active automated monitoring stations.
- FOEN / BAFU NABEL Network: Swiss National Air Pollution Monitoring Network measuring ozone, nitrogen dioxide, and particulate matter.
- Swisstopo Height & Elevation APIs: Elevation-aware profile estimations.
Measurements may experience delays, maintenance outages, or preliminary status. High-altitude concentrations, relief destination forecasts, and regional interpolations are mathematical estimates derived from baseline station readings and labeled as modeled rather than direct measurements.
4. License & Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use AirPeak Switzerland on compatible iOS devices for personal, non-commercial use.
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or attempt to extract source code from the Application without authorization.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AirPeak Switzerland and its developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Application, reliance on environmental scores, or decisions made based on pollen forecasts.
