Frequently Asked Questions
HTMLLab is a native iOS app for learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It includes editable Academy lessons, a local WebKit result pane, validation checks, and saved code drafts.
No. Your lesson code drafts remain inside your device's application container. HTML rendering occurs locally through WebKit without cloud compilation engines or analytical trackers.
Open Academy, choose a lesson, edit the visible HTML, CSS, or JavaScript source, run the result, then use Check Code to validate each requirement. You can save your work as a local code draft.
No. In the App Store build, the output panel is read-only and shows messages produced by the visible lesson code. Edit the JavaScript source in Code Lab, then run the result to see logs and errors.
Open the Settings tab inside the app and choose Storage & Cache. There you will find a control to reset your saved HTML, CSS, and JavaScript drafts back to the default lesson example.
